History of the Romanov Brothers In 1983 on a brisk spring morning Boris Romanov Sr was born into the world to his mother Annika. His father Nikolay, an ex-military man was the manager of the local meat processing plant in the south of Moscow. In 1992 after the fall of the Soviet Union, Nikolay managed to privatize his factory and become the legal owner of it. A season of change was upon the small family, and part of the change was the addition of another son. Though it is strange this newest child was named Boris Jr. Each of the sons were named after one of their grandfathers. Sr after his father's father, and jr after his mothers. The result was sometimes confusing but when their mother yelled Boris they both came running… So there were benefits to it as well. In 2001 as world news was full of terrorist attacks in the United states, Boris Sr began College at the age of eighteen. He studied hard majoring in engineering with a specialization in Firearms and infantry ordinance. Nikolay could not have been prouder of his oldest son when he transferred from the university to Saint-Petersburg military academy in 2003. Boris was always one to keep his mind on his studies and focused on where he was headed in the future, however for the first time he had found a place where he truly felt alive. He met a good friend in a young cadet named Ruslan Labazanov, and the two helped each other thru the hardest of classes and both graduated with honors. After graduation their paths separated, as Ruslan went on to higher education. Ruslan however sent Boris to work with one of his fathers businesses, where his talents were put to good use. In a very short time his skill for firearms repair was noticed and his position in the Bratva was cemented. From an early age it was evident that Boris Jr had an aggressive nature. He was raised strong and proud of the Romanov name. Honor was of the utmost priority and even in grade school he never backed down from a fight. Realizing his son needed a way to channel his aggression Nikolay reached out to an old army friend who now ran a gym nearby. It was just what the doctor ordered, Boris Jr quickly mastered the mixed martial arts style of his teacher and began to explore other styles as well. School was not his thing, unlike his older brother Boris Jr was not made for books and studying. He thrived in a more violent setting, this is why when he finally finished primary school he went straight into the military following his father's path. His whole life had led to this point and his skills quickly put him on top of the other soldiers around him. He was on a fast track to officer status when tragedy struck their small family. The darkest time of both of the boys live happened all at once as they lost their father to a drunk driver who happened to be an off duty cop. Corruption being so evident in their legal system the cop didn’t get so much as a fine. The stress of the whole situation proved to be two much and a few days after the verdict their mother died of a broken heart. She left two sons in the world who had to deal with the aftermath. After a few months and the support of the Bratva Boris Sr was back in an emotionally stable state. The boys agreed to sell the business to Ruslan’s grandfather and this made them both brothers wealthy. Boris Jr however was not stable his world had been wrecked all while he was away on military business, and he didn’t even get to say goodbye. With leave from the military for bereavement he came home to spend time with his brother. But his anger and sense of honor got the best of him and on a fateful rainy night he sought out the man that in his eyes had taken his parents from him. Not just shooting the cop, but making him suffer a slow and painful death. Unfortunately he was apprehended immediately, and with no kind of real trial was sentenced to prison in Butyrka prison were conditions were known to be horrible. Boris Sr knew his brothers future and maybe even his life was at stake an he went to the only men he knew could help. Ruslan had just returned from from finishing his degree in diplomacy and both he and Ctac could see the desperation in their friends eyes. Though Ruslan made no guarantees, together the three of them formulated a plan to break Boris Jr out of the infamous prison. The next step was to get the support of Ruslan’s father who was now the head of the family following the death of his grandfather. The timing could not have been more perfect Ruslan had recently made a deal to come to the United States and bring a few good men with him. Boris Jr and his skills would be a good asset to the team. Fate had aligned them, now only destiny can decide where they will go.
