Genesis

Genesis Smoke smaller.png
Los Santos, a corrupt city inhabited by unscrupulous individuals. In this city of sin, everyone is after the same thing: money and power. Most will do whatever it takes, constantly lying, cheating and stealing to get ahead. Such is the way this city has run for generations. However, the start of something new lies just over the horizon.

The Birth of a Boss

Since her earliest memories, Raine Caldwell was different. While her classmates were playing sports after school, she was under the bleachers selling marijuana and her father’s pills. A life of crime came naturally to her as the money earned from it granted her a lot of freedom and the ability to live as luxurious a lifestyle as a young person can. As her customer base grew and she became more widely known, she was approached by a man who simply referred to himself as “The Boss”. He offered her access to large quantities of harder drugs, such as heroin, meth and an array of party drugs. Raine, being a naïve teenager, accepted the stranger’s offer without much thought. All she saw was the money she could make selling more expensive drugs.

With her mother having passed and her father constantly slumped on the couch in front of the television from his own drug usage, Raine found a lot of free time to spend with this man known as “The Boss”. She spent most of her free time with the man, learning everything he had to teach her about how to maximize her profit. As the two became closer, she learned more about him. The man’s name was Carlos Miller, head of the infamously ruthless cartel known as Purgatory. Over the next three years, Raine, with the support of “The Boss”, would go on to become the biggest drug dealer in the city of Emmitsburg.

mcrp ART 1.png

After three years of working and selling drugs for Purgatory, Miller finally gave her the offer she had been hoping for. He handed Raine a small pistol and told her she would be sent off with his squad of hitmen on their next mission. If she survived the mission, he would agree to train her to be an official part of the cartel.

Raine did more than survive, and from that moment on, she proved herself to be a great asset to Purgatory. She found that she was a natural-born killer. Something about watching the life drain from someone’s eyes who had it coming made her heart race. Soon, just shooting someone wasn’t satisfying enough for her. Raine found her calling as the group’s most “persuasive” interrogator.

She enjoyed the life of easy money the cartel offered her. She was 23 now and already owned a nice car and a small mansion. It seemed like nothing could go wrong.

Then, she got the call. Everyone rushed to the Purgatory HQ, curious as to why they were called together on such short notice in the middle of the night. It was then they were informed Miller had been kidnapped and was being held at a rival cartel’s headquarters. Immediately, they started preparing to rescue their boss. Once everyone was geared up, they raced to the location where Miller was being held. Dozens of Purgatory men swarmed the building. It was a bloodbath. Raine rushed through the warzone, desperate to find the man who had been like a father to her, gunning down whoever stood in her way and taking a few bullets as well, but she couldn’t feel the pain through the adrenaline. Eventually, she stumbled upon the door to the basement, leaning against it for a moment to catch her breath. She faintly heard the rattle of a chain from the other side of the door. Raine shot the lock and flung open the door, all but falling down the stairs in her rush to rescue her boss. The sight before her made her heart sink. Her boss, the man who she respected most in the world, sat on the ground propped up against the wall, his head covered with a burlap sack, his clothes tattered and bloodied from numerous wounds all over his body. Raine removed the sack from over his head, tears forming in the corner of her eyes as she saw him look at her with his eyes glazed over and barely breathing. She could hear him wheezing as he tried to say something, but his body gave out before he could form a word. He fell limp against the wall.

She picked up his lifeless body, carrying it carefully up the stairs. It was eerily silent as she entered the hallway. No gunshots, no footsteps, nothing. She pressed on, retracing her steps and being careful not to make too much noise. Raine had to step over dozens of bodies, enemy and ally alike, as she retreated to the vehicle. No one was there to stop her or greet her as she left the building. There was not a living soul in sight.

She placed her boss in the car and drove him back to their HQ. Raine had to bury him the next day along with her fallen comrades. Feeling extremely defeated and broken, she decided there was nothing left in this city for her anymore and booked a flight to Los Santos, hoping to start over and be able to live a more normal life.

Starting Over

Raine landed in Los Santos, where she met up with her lifelong friend, Blake Freeman. Blake showed her around the city and helped her find a job as a miner, which she hated. She did the job anyway because she was desperate and needed the money, but what she really wanted was to help people. She had set her sights on working at Pillbox as an EMT.

As Raine caught up with Blake, she found out he was now involved with a gang called El Camino. This made Raine a little uneasy, considering she had come to Los Santos to start a new, legal life and was now spending time with a known gang member. She chose to ignore this however and continued spending time with him while she wasn’t at work.

Eventually, the temptation of easy money so close by was too much for Raine to bear. She gave in to her instincts, asking Blake if she could cook cocaine for him. He agreed and got her set up with the necessary supplies. Only seconds after she had begun purifying the first batch, she sees a strange man walk up to the RV she was cooking in. The man turned out to be a sheriff, who immediately arrested her. She served 170 months in Bolingbroke Penitentiary for manufacturing narcotics. With this felony on her record, any hope she had of working as an EMT was now gone.

Raine Prison.png

At this point, Raine had officially joined El Camino to be close to Blake as he was the only person in Los Santos she could trust. She continued cooking cocaine and trucking to make enough money to survive in this city.

While in El Camino, her leader, Tully, introduced her to a cook who was new to the city, Luca Colatti. Instantly, Raine knew there was something special about him. On his first day cooking for her, he was able to outrun an LSPD helicopter on foot. She was immediately impressed and decided to keep in close contact with Luca, expecting great things from him.

When El Camino eventually disbanded, she loyally followed her leader and Blake to Parabellum. Raine was skeptical about the move at first. She didn’t understand why they would go to a group that they had just been fighting for so long. However, she trusted the judgment of her leader and followed along with them, pushing for her favorite cook, Luca, to be allowed to join as well.

Parabellum seemed to be a more structured group, which Raine appreciated. She enjoyed her time there but ultimately decided she wanted something different from her life in the city. Raine left Parabellum with a heavy heart. It wasn’t an easy decision, but she knew it was the right one.

Raine thought for a few days about what she wanted to accomplish moving forward. The more time she spent with her thoughts, the more she realized how much she missed her family in Purgatory Cartel. The structure, the sense of community, she missed it all. It was at this point she realized what she truly wanted in this city. She would rebuild her own version of Purgatory, upholding the same standards and values as Carlos had. Raine wanted to build something that would have made him proud.

The first person who came to mind when thinking of who to start this group with was Luca Colatti. He had quickly become one of the few people she trusted in the city. Luca brought Jay Trappings to a meeting between the three of them to discuss some ideas for a new group that would be different from the rest. Having closely watched their previous leaders and analyzing what they’ve done well and not so well, the trio decided they could create something built to last. That day, Genesis was born.

luca and danny.png

In the beginning, Raine worked hard to get the group running smoothly. She found every way she could think of to earn money to provide the group with guns, vehicles and everything else they needed to be successful. The group operated in the shadows for weeks, not wanting to be found out for fear of being crushed early on by larger groups. Eventually, Genesis had grown enough and had made enough connections to be able to safely come out into the open.

A Friend on the Inside

While she was imprisoned all those months ago, Raine became close with a D.O.C. officer, Martin Law. She appreciated him making her time in prison less painful and agreed to keep in contact with him on the outside. Law was ex El Camino himself, so the two found they had a lot in common. At first, Martin distanced himself from the criminal activity he knew Raine participated in, but as he spent more time with her, he began to miss the thrill of his old life as a criminal. He started going undercover in disguises to conceal his identity while helping Genesis on missions. Feeling more alive than ever, Martin began spending more time with the group, assisting with various crimes.

Eventually, the warden caught on to what Martin had been doing. He was stripped of his badge and joined Genesis officially. Due to the time he had spent with the group and the unending loyalty he had shown, he was made the Underboss of Genesis.

The First HQ

As Genesis grew, they decided it would make sense for them to have an HQ and chose a spot in the Vespucci Canals. This spot was especially nostalgic to Raine and Jay as it had once been the El Camino HQ. It was also across the street from another group Genesis was friendly with, the Triads. They would often cross the street to assist one another when either group found themselves in danger.

Controlling the Chop Shops

While in Vespucci, Raine became very aware of a rising issue in the city. The number of car thefts had risen significantly in recent times, resulting in several Genesis cars being stolen and chopped. Frustrated at their members not being able to leave their cars out without worry, Raine decided they would put an end to this issue. Genesis began frequenting known chop shop locations, waiting for someone to come along and try to chop a car. The group would give everyone one warning: do not chop cars. After that, there would be consequences. After the choppers were dealt with, a member of Genesis would return the vehicle to the central bank for the owner to safely find.

The leaders of Genesis found they liked this type of vigilante justice. Due to the group’s efforts, they did notice a decrease in activity at chop shops, which is just the outcome they were hoping for.

Exodus

As time went on, Genesis became more and more like a family. The group had experienced a lot together and had grown close because of this. Everything seemed to be running exceptionally smoothly within the group and, with absolute trust between the members, it seemed there was no way they could fail.

genesis 2.png

Raine awoke to a flurry of rumors. People were coming up to her asking why Genesis had disbanded. She was taken aback by the absurd questions. Determined to find out who had started these rumors and why, Raine began questioning everyone who had heard about the situation. They all said the same thing, they had heard Genesis was merging with El Camino and therefore Genesis was dead. All the trails led black to the same source.

She was able to hunt down the man, a former Genesis member, who was allegedly spreading lies about her group. She brought him to a secluded spot to question him as to why he thought it was a good idea to start such rumors. He stuck to his story no matter what she did to try to get a better answer, causing her to wonder if there was actually some truth to what the man had said.

The next day, Raine was able to get into contact with Luca to find out what was going on. Raine stared at him in disbelief as he confirmed the rumors. He had left with the entirety of her high command and some soldiers overnight to join El Camino, leaving her with just two men.

A New Era

Watching everything she had worked hard to build fall down around her did not, however, crush her spirits. This only made her more motivated to bring Genesis back, even stronger than it had been before. With this newfound fire burning within her, Raine dedicated her time as the now sole leader of Genesis to finding promising new recruits.

recruit sunset.png

Raine recruited many individuals, but only kept a select few of them. This time around, she was going to be stricter, only accepting the best of the best. She began training her men tirelessly, determined to shape each one into a perfect soldier.

Genesis was slowly on their way to recovering from the loss they had taken. The group had several promising new recruits at this point and had enough manpower to once again act as chop shop vigilantes. However, the more time they spent in Northern San Andreas, the less practical their HQ in the Vespucci Canals became. Raine searched up North for days, looking for the perfect place for Genesis to call home. Eventually, she decided on an old farm in Grapeseed to be the location of Genesis’ new HQ. Being close to a handful of chop shops and away from all the noise of the city, this location was ideal for them.

Good Friends

Raine met Quentin Gee II, or ‘Q’ for short, at a party in Sandy Shores. Surrounded by mutual friends, the two got acquainted with one another and discussed some possible employment opportunities for Raine at his car dealership. She was very eager to have another potential source of income, so she took his number and made a mental note to inquire further about this when she had more free time. She had no idea what this encounter with this seemingly ordinary businessman would blossom into.

After meeting Q for the first time, building Genesis started taking up more of Raine’s time, no longer leaving her available to take on another job. Due to the stress, she had nearly forgotten about her encounter with Q in Sandy Shores until she ran into him by chance at the hospital. They began catching up until they were interrupted by a man pulling up alongside Q’s vehicle. The stranger began heckling Q, seemingly in an attempt to get him riled up. The two men clearly had some sort of bad blood between them. It was at this point Raine began to wonder if Quentin could be more than just a simple business owner.

sanders.png
Raine said her farewells to Q as she left him to enter the hospital where one of her men was recovering. She didn’t think too much of the situation she had just witnessed as it was none of her business. Raine sat with her fallen comrade until he had made a full recovery. As she exited the building, she was horrified to find her Kamacho was not where she had left it just in front of the hospital. Raine immediately hopped into her other car and pulled out her phone to begin tracking the truck. She followed it all the way to Mirror Park. As she approached the vehicle, a man opened the door of the Kamacho and started exiting the vehicle. Raine immediately had a bad feeling about this and sped away from the situation. Looking back in the rearview mirror, she could clearly see the same man who had been harassing Q staring at her down the barrel of an assault rifle. She felt a sudden, fiery pain in her shoulder, causing her to lose focus on the road for a moment and nearly fly off the road and into a tree. Raine grit her teeth, determined to push through the pain and get to safety. She managed to find a quiet ally to treat her wounds in and plan her next move. She knew she couldn’t do this alone in her condition, so she called in her favorite D.O.C. officer for help. He arrived quickly and they began tracking her truck once again.

This time, the Kamacho was sitting on the side of the highway up North. They made their way up to where the truck sat and drove past it, making sure there was no one inside it. The coast seemed clear, so Raine made a dash for her vehicle. She was able to get inside it with no issue, but as soon as she turned the key and the engine roared to life, two men appeared at the top of a bridge above her. Luckily for her, the men fell off the bridge and had to take a moment picking themselves up out of the dirt before they had a chance to draw their assault rifles on her. Raine took quite a few hits as she sped down the highway, but she was able to escape the setup with her life.

fell off the bridge.png

Quite shaken up by these events, Raine reached out to Q with several questions. She learned a lot from this conversation. Her feeling about there being something more to Q was correct. She learned that he was actually the current head of the Good Family, a well-known criminal organization in Los Santos. He told her all about who the men who had attacked her were, what they wanted, everything. They spoke for a while and Raine got to see a whole new side of Q.

From then on, Q was always there for Raine. He made it known to her that she could count on him if she or her men ever needed help with anything. Raine grew to greatly respect Q and admire his leadership skills. She saw a lot of Carlos in him, which brought her great comfort.

Raine and her men started spending more time with Q and the Good Family. Q had kept his word and helped her out many times. In turn, Raine took every chance she could to show her appreciation for the kindness and respect he had shown her and her men even though they were just a small group with nothing to offer.

At this time, Andrew Good stepped up as leader of the Good Family. Q called Raine and Luca into a meeting to formally introduce them to Andrew, who Raine had already previously known from Parabellum. He showed them the same level of respect Q had, which Raine appreciated. She could tell this was the beginning of a beautiful relationship between the two groups.

party.png

The two groups were very obviously compatible from the start, which Andrew seemed to notice as well. Their members got along well and were able to fight alongside one another with perfect synchronization. It seemed inevitable that the two gangs would become close.

Before long, Andrew called a meeting with Genesis’ high command. He proposed the two groups form an official alliance. To Raine, this was an easy decision. Genesis and the Good Family had already been helping each other, so it was only natural for them to continue to do so under this new alliance.

The Point of No Return

The close alliance between the two groups soon attracted some unwanted attention. Not long after a fight against the Crows, Rebels, and Bratva, Raine received a text on her phone from a man called Sergei. He requested a meeting with her immediately. She hesitantly agreed and drove down to Bratva’s headquarters in Vespucci to meet with the two men. She got out of her car and stood face to face with Tudor, the leader of Crows, and Sergei, a high command member of Bratva. The faces of two of the largest gangs in the city at the time gave her the warning, “don’t destroy yourself by alliancing with the other side”. Tudor extended his hand to Raine, giving her one last opportunity to leave her new alliance and remain untouched by the two groups. Although the threat was perfectly clear, she refused to turn her back on her allies. Raine denied the hand and stood her ground. For her, loyalty was one of the most valuable traits a person could possess, and she was not about to betray the people who supported her and her men from the start. She left the meeting a bit anxious about the threat, but confident in her decision nonetheless.

The Oath

Fighting the three large gangs that made up The Alliance with just the Good Family and Genesis seemed daunting, to say the least. Between the two allied groups, they had a mere 30 or so members with Genesis still recovering from the exodus, whereas The Alliance seemed to have upwards of 100 between the three of them. The Good Family didn’t seem bothered as they were used to fighting these numbers, which helped give Raine some confidence.

These concerns soon came to an end when a meeting was held between the leaders of the Company, Parabellum, the Good Family, and Genesis. Each group involved was having issues with the Crows, Rebels, and Bratva murdering their men and keeping them from making money. Alone, it was difficult for any of these groups to tackle the three largest in the city. For this reason, the leaders discussed coming together to overcome the oppressive force that was The Alliance. The Company, Parabellum, the Good Family, and Genesis all came together with a promise to completely dismantle The Alliance. This was the Oath.

Gaining Influence

With the Oath established, the four allies were starting to win more fights against the Alliance, finally standing a fighting chance against them. At this point, Parabellum had gone to do work overseas for the time being, temporarily leaving just the Company, the Good Family and Genesis to carry out their promise. This loss did not deter the Oath from pushing forward and forcing their way to the top. It was at this point that the Good Family and Genesis decided to extend their influence to the streets of Picture Perfect. Genesis decided to impose a 15% tax on the sale of all cocaine to the people in this area. Any dealer who wanted to sell on this street had to first pay their dues to Genesis to be allowed the right to do so.

picture turf.png

The group kept hanging around in the area to solidify and expand their influence over the drug market on this street. This did not go unnoticed by the Alliance. When they realized what Genesis was up to, the Alliance started plotting. The Crows, Rebels and Bratva approached a motorcycle club from Sandy known as P.L.U.C.K. M.C. with an offer. The three gangs proposed to the M.C. that they would help the group take the streets of Picture Perfect from Genesis. Despite having a previously good relationship with Genesis, P.L.U.C.K. did not turn down this offer.

Under the cover of night, the M.C. took to the streets, protected by the Alliance, and began trying to reduce the influence Genesis had over the area. Of course, after finding out about what was going on, Genesis called upon the Company and the Good Family to help them fight the army that waited for them on their turf.

The battle raged on for what seemed like days before the Oath had finally finished off the last of the enemies, managing to keep their influence over the cocaine market on picture perfect. P.L.U.C.K. would try this again with the same result before finally giving up.

Retaliation

Raine had considered Jacob Supreme, the president of P.L.U.C.K. M.C., a friend since she first arrived in Los Santos. This betrayal was extremely unexpected for her, and she took it personally. Fighting them off her turf was not enough for Raine. She would be sure they paid dearly for crossing her.

pluck at good hq.png

Her revenge started when she found one of her men found a first-generation member of P.L.U.C.K.. Immediately, the man was brought to a secluded area awaiting Raine’s arrival. She would use this man to send a message. Raine stripped the man of his cut and removed all his club tattoos with a switchblade before having him brought back to the M.C.’s clubhouse. This would be a warning to the rest of them of what was to come should they continue on the path they had chosen.

Even this was not enough. The man would heal. Raine wanted to hurt the club and be sure they would not be able to afford to try and mess with her turf again. She decided to adjust her strategy and try to financially cripple them.

Having known Supreme for a long time at this point, Raine knew he made a decent amount of money off the general store he leased in Sandy Shores. For months, Raine and her men robbed this store, taking every cent they could from her old friend. The M.C. would pay her back one way or another.

Rising to the Top

After fending off attacks on both Genesis and the Company’s turfs for weeks, they started to notice a decline in numbers on the Alliances’ side. At this point, Parabellum was back in town as well, making the Oath complete once again. The groups were being contested less while selling weed and the relentless attacks on their turfs and businesses had ceased. The Oath had taken over the city, now controlling weed, cocaine, and chop shops between the four groups.

New Business
Now being in control of the weed market, Genesis was selling more weed than they could make. Their simple solution for this was to find a supplier to sell them weed for a low price, which the group could easily sell to their customers. Already having many connections around Los Santos, it was easy to find a grower who would be able to supply all the groups in the Oath.
The groups found a secure location to meet the dealer, setting their men up all around to ensure nothing went wrong during the transaction. After handing off a suitcase of cash to the dealer, the soldiers inspected the product, ensuring it was of good quality before loading it up.
Genesis struck up many such deals with a variety of other groups, such as a small group called Tension, to sell them weed for a low price.

New Management
The four groups were doing exceptionally well at this point. Of course, the bliss couldn’t last forever. Genesis’ closest ally, the Good Family, was having some internal issues which, unfortunately, would lead to the downfall of the gang. The members went their separate ways, and the Good Family was no more. Andrew Good ran solo with his friend, Gator Wild, for a while after his gang split. The pair got into plenty of mischief together before Raine was finally able to talk them into settling back into the gang life. Naturally, Raine made Andrew her second in command, her Underboss. Mr. Good’s knowledge and experience in the life would prove to be a great asset to Genesis and help the group grow even further.

Pushing for Change
Being a criminal and staying out of prison is a tough job. Staying out of prison is even more difficult when your tyrannical government has issued a statewide ban on any type of mask, a necessary accessory for any crime. Many members of Genesis were targeted by police for wearing a mask, even when they were not caught in the act of committing a crime. Raine was fed up with watching her men’s hard-earned money going into the already fat pockets of the government officials via fines. This law affected everyone in the city, including normal civilians, meaning Raine would have many willing participants to help her set her plan in motion.
A member of her high command, Barry Binhead, was able to link up someone who was just as passionate as they were about having this law changed. Using Scott Nitro as a legal face, they planned a protest against the new mask law. Of course, this would just be the start of the plan.
1631176990754.png
The real plan ran much deeper. Raine wanted to get the thousands of dollars her men had wasted on mask fines back for them and send a message to the government officials.
Raine gathered all her men in an old warehouse behind old Good Family HQ. There they discussed a plan to achieve all their goals without getting caught. They were about to pull off their biggest heist yet, robbing the Fleeca Bank in Chumash.
For weeks, the group planned. Scouting the bank, noting the location of the cameras, the type of lock on the safe, noting any additional security measures, they made sure there was no way their plan would not go smoothly.
After all the necessary research, their plan seemed foolproof. The protest would be a distraction. Sure, maybe it could do some good, sway the lawmaker’s minds, but the truth is it didn’t matter whether the protest was a success or not. The protest only served as a way to ensure the police are all in one place away from the bank to allow them time to empty the vault.
1631177067766.png
1631177095938.png

Mr. Binhead had secured a device from a Russian man which was promised to be able to open any safe with an electronic lock with no issue.
Finally, the day of the heist came. Genesis met once again in the old warehouse. They packed their all-black uniforms in their backpacks along with their signature gas masks. Raine looked at her men, nodding to them as they left the building. It was time.
In a convoy of blacked out cars, they drove together to the protest. They stayed and watched for a while, observing how to protest was going and more importantly, how many police were present. To Raine’s delight, it seemed as though the entire police force was there holding back a rather large crowd. A few in the crowd were getting a little rowdy at this point. A man from the crowd turned to the rest and said as he started climbing over the barricade, “Hey, they can’t stop us all!”
1631177139245.png
Raine smirked as she watched more people try to climb the barricades to get into City Hall. Immediately, the police reacted, and a riot ensued. Raine called out on the radio to her men, “It’s time.” She casually left the scene and got in her blacked out Toros, ready to begin their mission.
The convoy sped to the Fleeca Bank, completely unnoticed by the police. The cars screeched to a halt outside the bank and the group rushed inside.
A lone female teller stood behind the counter. The men wasted no time putting a gun to her head and setting her on her knees in the lobby of the bank. Raine rushed to the back room where the vault was. She reached into her bag, grabbing the device Binhead had given her and placing it as she was instructed above the lock. After a loud bang and a few sparks, the lock to the vault failed and the door was unlocked. Raine’s smile faded quickly as the alarm started blaring immediately after the lock was disabled. She cursed to herself as she called for more of her men to help her quickly take the cash so they could leave before the police arrived.
1631177251125.png
With her luck, the zipper on the bag she was stuffing the bills into broke, leaving her to pinch the opening together and hope nothing fell out. She clenched the bag to her chest as she walked to the front door. One police scout was already outside. Cruzio and a cadet stood there negotiating with Binhead. It was agreed that the Genesis members would be allowed to leave without issue so long as they left the hostage behind. Raine had an awful feeling about this, but there was not much of a choice. She told her men to get ready for a chase and to split up immediately.
1631177289829.png
Of course, as soon as the group drove off, several officers followed in pursuit. Raine drove as fast as she could North towards Paleto and was able to lose the police rather easily. She took several winding dirt roads before finally stopping to see a mechanic for a quick new paintjob for her car to throw off the police.
While waiting for the mechanics to finish with her car, she could hear on the radio her men were having less luck. T had crashed the Kamacho, leading him and a few lower ranking members to get arrested. None of those men had any bags of cash from the robbery, however. They group had escaped with the hundreds of thousands of dollars they had come for. She would be able to pay off her men’s fines and have plenty left over.
After changing clothes and burning all the evidence of their planning, Genesis went back to the protest, which was just about ending. The people with the cash walked through the crowd, discreetly dropping some of the cash to give back to the citizens for the mask fines they had incurred since this terrible law came into effect. Those who noticed the cash looked to the masked men as heros. Raine smirked as she watched her hard work and long hours of planning pay off.

New Territory
After spending all this time growing and expanding as a group, Genesis was ready for the next step. It was time to stake claim to another territory, Paleto.
The gang spent time going from door to door, selling weed to and winning over the hearts of the potheads in Paleto. Eventually, they were successful and became the most known group in the area, once again forcing any other dealers to pay them a 15% tax on any profits from weed sold here.

The Scrap King
It was well known at this point that Genesis controlled the Chop Shop scene. Due to their notoriety, they caught the eye of someone else in the scrap metal industry, Sam Rodgers. Rodgers proposed an arrangement to Raine. He asked that she allow certain cars to be chopped, the parts of which would be neatly packed and delivered to him at his scrapyard on a regular basis for compensation.
This seemed like a golden opportunity to Raine and she agreed without much hesitation. Scrap metal was obviously very easy for her and her men to gather. The gang began saving some of the scraps from each car they dismantled, setting them aside for the delivery. Genesis still continues this arrangement to this day.

The Takeover of the North
Genesis now controlled the Chop Shops of the North as well as the drug market in Paleto. Only one thing was missing for them to have full control over the entire North of the city.
A group informally known as the Italians currently held the most influence over the drug market in Sandy Shores. This did not deter Raine and she knew she could take it, especially with the help of the Oath.
Raine gathered her men, armed them, and got them ready to kick the Italians out of their cozy motel. Together with the Oath, they invaded the small town, talking to the citizens and offering them better prices on drugs in an effort to steal the Italian's customers. Surprisingly, no one came to defend their turf. Genesis continued working hard to gain influence over the area, wondering why there was no resistance from the gang that was supposed to control this area.

Genesis was nearly a bigger name in Sandy than the Italians before the mafia finally showed their faces. A large-scale fight ensued with many casualties on both sides. The Oath came out overwhelmingly on top and cleared away all the Italian bodies, officially running them out of the town. Genesis now had full control over both of the drug markets of the towns to the North of the city, completing their takeover.

The Next Step
After the heist on Fleeca Bank, Raine never stopped thinking about how to solve the mask problem. Before she made any more extravagant plans, she needed to make sure the people of the city were behind her as they could be a necessary asset in the future as they had been in the past with the protest.
The members of Genesis stocked up on spray paint. They threw on some black clothes and set out to find the most well-placed billboards to broadcast their message.
With two men on the lookout for the police, the rest of the gang skillfully painted over the advertisements on the billboards, replacing them with graffiti condemning the mask laws. The message was huge and clear. Raine nodded in approval as she looked over the sign. This seemingly insignificant crime would be a very important step in her master plan.
