    The Beginning
Sam Rogers was born on June 5 1998 in Boston, Massachusetts. The Rogers Family was one of high society. Sam became acquainted with the upper-class lifestyle throughout his early life. However, The lavish lifestyle never meshed with him; his parents attempted to fix this with strict private schooling. The end result was Sam being expelled and shipped to Los Santos. Sam was sent to work at his Uncle’s Scrap Yard because his parents thought showing him his “possible future” would scare him straight. This attempted solution had the opposite effect as Sam learned more about life from his uncle then he ever would with private schooling. He learned about the “art of the deal” , selling rusted out cars for over price and buying vintage cars for half their worth. This was Sam's first visit of many; during summer breaks and vacations he would fly out to Los Santos and work at his uncle's scrapyard. He became closer with his Uncle then his actual parents. When Sam went into college his parents assumed that he would join the family business as he showed interest in business management. When Sam got out of college he told them about how he was offered a management position at his uncle's scrapyard and he was planning to take it. His parents disowned him and cut him off from the family, Sam was heartbroken and moved to Los Santos. Sam put all his effort into running the scrapyard under his new position as Assistant Manager. Sam learned more and more about his uncle's business was not simply just crushing cars. Sam moved up the ranks and started to help with his uncle's chop shop and the sale of stolen cars. Rogers Scrapyard became the largest distributor in the state selling cheap car parts to mechanic shops all over the state.

    The Rico
As Rogers scrap yard became more powerful and influential the police took an interest in it and other organized crime organizations. The Department of Justice and Police took an interest in Rogers Scrapyard deciding they would send a message to the underbelly of Los Santos. After weeks of investigation the police found a disgruntled employee and convinced him to flip on the organization. One cool summer night as Sam was working the yard the cops raided. The scrapyard was surrounded and police arrested everyone working at the yard. Sam knew the scrapyard better than anyone and was able to sneak away. Sam hid under a rusted tank at the entrance attempting to wait the police out. Sam laid under the rusted tank for about 6 hours as police searched the yard, arrested everyone he knew, and locked down the business. Once the search was over the police chained up the yards entrance and stationed a patrol car outside. Sam climbed out from under the rusted tank and made his way to the office. He then went to the punch cards and checked the employee’s records. Finding who had and had not clocked in for the day. He found one employee that didn’t show up for his normal shift; he wrote down his address on a piece of paper. Sam, both physically and mentally exhausted at this point, escaped the yard by hopping a wall and calling a taxi. He then got a motel room under a different name, finally he passed out on the bed from exhaustion.

    The Return
After the events that transpired Sam left the city for a short time to wait out the RICO case. With the disappearance of the star witness and informant the case had no foundation. Anything found during the raid couldn’t be used so Sam’s uncle was freed along with other members of the organization. Sadly many of those members that were involved left the state after coming so close to being put behind bars. Sam’s uncle lost ownership of the scrap yard so now it stands abandoned. Sam Rogers made sure his uncle was taken care of using what money he had left to send him south so he could live a humble life without being harassed by police or government agencies. Before departing the Uncle gifted his Rolls-Royce to Sam as a thank you for all that he did. Sam now has returned, sporting one of his signature track suits, planning to rebuild what was taken from him.

    The Goodtime
Sam has been back in Los Santos for about two months. He has in that time made many friends and connections. Sam got his first job as a bouncer for the Bahama Mamas and moonlighted at other clubs. Sam was able to get his Uncle's Rolls-Royce out of police impound and had to pay 35 thousand dollars in restoration fees. He then got right to work trying to get his Scrap Yard back and the scrapping industry going once again. He’s also branched out and started working for Gallagher Pawn n Co, a new business that's just getting started. Sam spent much of his time fishing at the pier but as many do, he grew tired of it. He would often spend time driving around the city seeing what was happening around town. He met many interesting people and helped those he could to achieve their dreams. Sam felt that he was finally getting some momentum and was getting closer to achieving his dreams.

    The Awakening
Sam overall was feeling comfortable; he had never had any real issues with anyone and felt safe. This all changed when Sam drove down to the Del Perro Pier parking lot to have a conversation with a business associate. Sam was leaning on the railing looking out at the beautiful beach. Sam then took out his phone to send a quick text message to a friend that he was going to call it a night. At this point a man wearing a red fisherman's cap and a red face mask approached him. He then pulled out a baseball bat and without a word started beating him with it. The man then robbed Sam and ran away into the shadows. Sam laid there on the ground with two cracked ribs and started coughing up blood. He laid there what felt like a lifetime until someone heard his coughing and pleas for help. The Paramedic’s came as Sam started choking on his own blood because of internal bleeding and rushed him to the hospital. Sam was taken into surgery as the blunt force trauma had caused internal bleeding and needed to be stopped. The Doctors were able to find the source of the internal bleeding and were able to stabilize the man. While Sam was in surgery his emergency contacts were notified that he had been hospitalized. The following message was sent out “Emergency Contact of SAM ROGERS. You have been notified because you're an emergency contact of SAM ROGERS. You have been notified that SAM ROGERS is currently hospitalized and is in critical condition. For updates on his condition please come down to MD.” Sam awoke in the hospital to a friendly face, his boss at the Bahama Mamas, Olivia Hanman. He then said “Hey Boss, I don’t think I’m going to be able to come into work tomorrow”. He was then discharged from the hospital on a low dose of morphine. Olivia helped him get back to his apartment and Sam passed out on the couch. Sam is now on edge suspecting that this robbery was an attempt on his life and is trying to figure out who might be trying to kill him. I guess the one good thing that came out of this is Sam can’t smoke a cigarette without doubling over in pain. Sam Rogers now has a singular goal in mind, find out who sent him to the hospital and why he was targeted.
